Josh lead and I was tailgunner.  Steve rode his quad. Fun drive with some hard sections after the mine.  Had to pull out the Landcruiser 60 twice.  Second time broke a strap and had to sneak by just to turn around and pull from below.  Mine was in good shape with lot's of structure and mechanical parts still there.  Josh had a PS problem.  A little hot, but not so bad on the trail. 

This trip took us up the back way from Lake Pleasant to Prescott via Crown King.  A great trip overall.  Really no traffic considering it was Memorial Day weekend.  Road had been fully graded from the first part off of main route.  Dissapointing.  Caught some Toyota buggies.  Good temp... not too hot.  Ate lunch just before rough stuff ended at CK.  Climbed the mystery left road at the winding part.  Dead end but quad trail beyond, maybe next time.  Found new route (52B) from Dad's maps and camped at 7,200 feet or so.  Windy but great views.  Interesting moutain bike trail possibly from the top.  Next day had some challenge down the "Road Closed" section.  Deep rut, pretty tippy and a bit spooky.  Hiked Trail 65.  Would be a great downhill.  Overgrown road beyond until off the mountain.  Aired up at creek near Wolf Creek road and Ponderosa Park.  Lunch at Macayo's.  Hung at Dad's.  Dinner at PV italian place... never again.  I-17 home.
